I do agree that loosing Acapulco was a crying same, but understand all the reasons and they are solid ones... I am sorry that several of the areas are hard to get to and wish more units would be purchased on the East Coast of the USA. Spain is hard to get to even for the most avid traveler. The Acapulco location had a great following of retired folks that were like family..(even though flights were unreal) that is what I wish the East Coast will one day have.. Maintenance continues to go up (naturally), as do travel costs. L... read more

Interesting that out of 60+ reviews there are two, I assume, RAVC Members that give the Resorts a one-star rating and publish incorrect, misleading information, i.e. false news about this fine club. Having been on their Board for the past six years and a Member since 1980, I can assure you that the RAVC Management spends most of their time and resources on making the Club facilities, maintenance and customer service the best it can be for our members, their guests and guests trading into RAVC units. RAVC have old properties in undesirable locations. Yes they have a unit in Maui but it is removed from good beaches and restaurants. The unit in Tahoe is far from the mountain and dated. The unit in Honolulu boasts a great location but units are very small and now the location has become very congested. After trying all the RAVC properties, we consistently put our weeks into Interval International or another exchange so that we could find units worth the membership fee we pay RAVC. This adds another $250.00 in exchange fees.... read more

We love this timeshare! Especially now that they have updated Waikiki and other properties. We find the fees very reasonable and feel the timeshare is a bargain especially in Hawaii. We love to go to the Oregon coast and stay in July at Ottercrest in their spacious and ocean view units. Alot of bang for the buck!!

Not so good. Dated properties with tons of maintenance fees (us paying) and not a lot of updates or customer service. Example: Monday to Monday weeks is very dated... maybe okay 25 years ago, but Friday to Friday is much better (for us). Example 2: Office is closed on weekends (Kona). Tried to coordinate a weekend checkin around 2:30PM and received a bog NO from the manager and the reservations department. Example 3: stayed in the Waikiki location... popcorn ceilings with dirty black air conditioning schmutz surrounding the ... read more
