Dr. Karbakhsh is wonderful! She is kind, warm, takes the time to listen to her patients and is focused on whole body well being. She recommends holistic as well as western medicine interventions.

I saw Dr. Karbakhsh on a recommendation from my regular doctor. I had no hope of her being able to help me since I was in such a bad state of depression. I went to see her anyway as I had nothing to lose. She was warm and compassionate and really felt confident that she could help me if I was just willing to try again. I began on a new regiment of medications that she prescribed. Within 5 days my constant crying was gone. Within 10 days my depression was gone. Not just better - gone.
I felt comfortable with Dr. Karbakhsh the first time I went to see her. It is difficult to share certain aspects of your life with another person, but she put me at ease right from the beginning. She has helped me manage my anxiety and depression and for that I am so grateful. I am able to work with less anxiety and I am happier in general. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Roya was very perceptive in isolating my mental health needs and had vast experience in treatinments. She began a successful medication program and suggested life changes and strategies to enhance their effectiveness. I am a 58 year old male and have had a panic, anxiety disorder for over 10 years, my doctor for many years retired last year and i was referred to Dr Karbakhsh, she prescribed me a new medication that the previous doctor did not, and because of that i am now sleeping more than 5 hours a night. I have found the doctor to be very helpful willing to listen and give me the proper amount of attention. I could not be happier to have found DR Karbakhsh.
