Dr. Thompson was wonderful in explaining things where I understood, very comforting and professional, and provided a relaxed atmosphere to ask and answer questions. The staff was very proficient in the care and how they asked questions.
Dr Thompson was very courteous and informative about my procedure.
Dr. Thompson has been extremely good about informing me about what was going on in my gastrointestinal system. He took excellent care of me in the hospital when I had ulcers and with my follow-up visits and procedures

Everyone was professional, friendly and caring. They all explained what they were going to do and then ask if there were any questions.
I had a problem swallowing several for years and several Doctors and tests I went to could find nothing. Finally I choked and couldn’t dislodge it, I went to the emergency and they sent me by ambulance to Tulsa St Johns emergency where Dr Thompson remove the blockage and diagnosed my problem. Soon after Dr Thompson performed a procedure and prescribed medication, now years later I haven’t had a problem swallowing since being treated by Dr Thompson.
My visit and procedure (colonoscopy) could not have been better! This being said after the same procedure done 7 years ago with a different doctor causing me to be very apprehensive this time. Dr. Thompson, everyone associated with the procedure, and the front desk were all very friendly and helpful. All my questions and concerns were dealt with in a concerned manner. Where to begin is the question. I am not sure why this office is such a mess but it is. My experience so far has been to hear from a nurse who always says the same thing. Sorry we forgot to run the correct testing. The only time they even address you as a patient is when you call to complain. Repeatedly I have had to reach out to them because my scheduled testing was not ordered or ordered correctly. I have yet to hear how my treatment is doing after 8 weeks. This doctor will never talk to you.
He is a very patient and caring doctor. I will and have recommended him to others.
