This is the third pediatrician office that we have been to since my son was born two years ago because we have been searching for a pediatrician that actually took the time to get to know us and our children, rather than just making us feel like a number. We tried both the Sicklerville and Laurel Advocare practices and both were the same, quick to get us in and out without sometimes even taking the time to physically examine our child. I was reading through some other reviews and found some senseless. The doctors have to perform certain "tests" and exams to check for reflexes and developmentally appropriate behaviors. They also have to ask their parents questions- I feel a lot of the one starts are undeserved, especially after transferring to Rowan Peds after having numerous terrible experiences with West Deptford Advocare. Dr Steeks is an amazing doctor. Unfortunately, we are leaving practice because of incompetent and rude front office staff.

Receptionist is extremely rude and had the nerve to tell me " just like the other 25 people on the bump list" when I said my son won't be able to stay in school because he's been waiting 3 months for this appointment. Following up with "You can find another pediatrician". This is the second time it's been canceled on their end. So the attitude you can swallow. Maybe that Receptionist shouldn't work in pediatrics.
