When I visited the Ruote 66 Moving and Storage Company by a friend’s recommendation to ask for an opportunity to use their warehouse in storing various brands of imported brews, I was warmly welcomed by the well-behaved employees. I would like to commend them for their good communication skills and customer services rendered to me. My different types of brews were sorted well and preserved in a secure warehouse at a cheaper cost. Thanks to John and the team who employed appropriate handling facilities in handling my goods.

Another job done well by Route 66 moving and storage! I am so excited to see to be in my new home courtesy of Route 66 moving. The driver and the loading team were good at listening and following instructions, more so they delivered their services at a lower cost than I had budgeted for. Good news to my social media family, I finally settled in my new home, Texas courtesy of Route 66 Moving and Storage Company moving services. What a great relocation experience! I was worried about my glass wall unit as I thought it would break into pieces, thanks to the driver of the truck and the loading team for handling it with great care and delivering it in its initial condition. Terrible company to work with. The salesman will sell you on everything you ask about, but when it comes time for the move they hit you with extra charges that ended up costing us over 50% more than the original quote. Unable to get through to customer service, just end up on hold forever or looped back to the original menu after selecting one of the options for service. This is a big SCAM. Please be away from them. I wish there is negative rating. I have scheduled a move (with pick-up on 8/4-8/6) and delivery on 8/11 from Buffalo Grove IL to Round Rock TX. Pickup: ===== Initially, we were told items will be picked up 8/4 (there was no communication on 8/2 or 8/3 about the window). On 8/4, I was told they will pickup on 8/5 morning. Please DO NOT use this company. When they are trying to get your business they could not be more helpful and attentive. However, once they get your business it’s a different story. First, they underestimate your quote, so when you are finally packed up and on their truck, it will be $1000s more than you were quoted. Don’t expect all your items to get their either. This company lost the legs to my dining room table, the bottom metal frame to my child’s crib, and they lost a jewelry armoire that had irreplaceable items in it. ... read more

We were ripped off. They charged $2500 to move an one bedroom apartment and everything was damaged. Do no use this company!
