Route 66 moving and storage is the best service for long distance and short distance moves alike. My family and i had to move recently and i stumbled on Route 66 moving and storage by complete chance online. I really don't understand how those good reviews come out! I wish I can give this company 0 stars If I can. In summary, this company is just a broker company that lives using lies. They cheat you with lies, ask you for a deposit, then they sale your moving task to other people who will sale the task to other people again. Once you pay the deposit to the company, you will be forced to do whatever they may ask you to do, or you will lose your deposit and/or belongings. Route 66 moving did a fabulous job by adjusting the moving date to meet my schedule which required me to fly out the country as soon as possible. I then received a call informing on which date the move was going to take and happy enough there were no changes in the reasonable quote stated during the first reservation. My only worry was the condition of my scooter and I really appreciate their moving team for delivering it in good shape. You can always count on the Route 66 Moving and Storage Company for excellent moving services. I contacted them to aid in moving my office within Georgia and they responded with a friendly quote after a short conversation with one of their staff members. They were so professional and completed the whole task ahead of the schedule. I lost nothing during the move and I would like to commend them for being protective and careful. I wish I could give zero star. These movers are scammers. I got a quote from Julian that was reasonable and fair and also aligned with others quotes from other company but boy was I wrong.first issue I informed him that I no longer lived in Florida however my stuff was already packed and in storage, he said that is no problem. The night before the moved I’m now told that I needed a power of attorney and someone has to be there. My Jeep’s delivery was prompt and perfect by Route 66 moving, no damages even a single scratch on the body. Having used an open trailer, it was well covered to avoid it from getting dirty and this worked efficiently. I would give this company 0/5 stars if I could, but this website forces me to give a minimum of 1/5. The initial consultation with Julian for the price estimate was completely inaccurate from the start. This error caused me to pay extra money when the movers arrived or be forced to leave my furniture behind.
