Dr rountree has the worst bedside manner. I took my severely constipated son there for a visit. We came from urgent care and I had films with me. Urgent care told me to share the films with him. When I tried to get him to take a look he refused. He told me that he deals with constipation all of the time. He did no hands on exam and just spoke with us. My son later ended up at MCV ED and was admitted for a bowel obstruction. We never went back to rountree and stayed with MCV and have been much happier.
Dr. Roundtree has been an amazing doctor. He listens to our issues, hears us and takes action. He always gets us an answer in a timely manner. Very polite and friendly. He has not pushed us away or neglected any of our issues. All positive ways of treatment and hasn’t given up at all.
We ended up with Dr Rountree with our second daughter and couldn’t not be happier. We went through quite a few ped GI docs with our first and Dr Rountree is far and above the most communicative, thorough and kind. His nurses are also EXCELLENT - they clearly know what they are doing on the clinical side and also have great bedside manner for us terrified parents.
I was referred to Dr.Rountree after a long journey with another ( very well-known Dr) who was nothing but terrible, my son was diagnosed with Crohn's and didn't get better until I found Dr.Rountree! Dr.Rountree and his team are beyond outstanding, Dr.Rountree Is a great listener, always listening to my concerns, explaining and answering all my questions, and always very accommodating, my son started getting better only after being under his care, during his treatment when I have any questions they are always there and answer... read more
