Some of the worst Italian I've ever had. – I am quite sure that at one point this was a great restaurant. I've talked to a few native Chicagoans and they said when they were kids this place was considered a hot location. For whatever reasons (maybe a lot of midwestern tourists keep them afloat) this place is AWFUL. Cold diced tomatoes served on wet TOAST is not an appetizer. Look-out!!! Fun Time!! – A bunch of us went out and had a ball...Actually several balls each. Wow the meatballs here could choke a pig, and the salad really is not necessary. My sunday night rugby team were going to go for pizza, but saw the Rosebud sign and decided to try it. We were not disappointed. George treated us like royalty!!! We can't wait to go back
Horrible And Unacceptable! – First of all my wife wanted to celebrate her 50th Birthday at Rosebuds on Taylor. I thought great we have been going there periodically over thirty years. So i called and made reservations two days ahead of time. Greatest Hamburgers at all Rosebud restaurants – Rosebud Restaurants have the best hamburgers in Chicagoland in my opinion. They are so big and the meat is so good. They melt in your mouth.Just ask for one if they are not serving them and they will probably whip one up for you. A great treat.

50-50 – We have dined at this location 6 times. 3 times the food and service was good to very good. The other 3 times- the service was horrible and the food good to very good. There are many first class Italian restarants to chose from that are more consistent. We won't take the chance on this one again.

Subpar food with Subpar service – While eating here - the host staff was rude and abrubt when seating us. The resturant was very busy and loud. When my prime rib arrived (Saturday night special), when it arrived it was undercooked and extremely fatty (over 50% of the cut). The staff took it back stating I would get a new piece - upon return the prime rib was cooked and now done overly well. After this I was given a different cut of meat.
