Hot Date Spot – My Advice: SHARE...huge portions, great value, unique manicotti, delicious pizza del giorno...wonderful salads...the only thing that will set you back is if you want to drink...pricey drinks
A Rose for a Rose – This is a great place for great food, & great romance!
Great neighborhood Italian! – I often go here to impress dates. It's out of the way and quite classy. Service is excellent, food is inexpensive. The only problem is the long wait ... but overall a great value!
Best Italian I've ever had!!! – One of the best romantic meals I've ever had was at Rose Angelis. From the comfortable, casual but nice atmosphere to the outstanding food...I have nothing but good things to say about this place!
and a cream sauce to die for... – I adore this hidden treasure. The owner is always on site making sure that everything runs well, the staff is knowledgable and friendly and the food is outstanding. I am a huge carnivore but I rarely even notice that I've ordered something meatless because the pastas are so rich and delicious. The portions are rather large so you might want to split although the food is also the breakfast of champions the next AM.
Great Food, Great Atmosphere – This is some of the best Italian you will find anywhere in this city of great Italian food. And, there is no better value. The Bread Pudding is a must. Save room.
A real realm for romance – Excellent atmosphere. Full with people yet not so noisy as to make conversations impossible. Enough room to feel comfortable. Food is good as far as I've tried. The server was very nice and friendly... Nice dim lights and italian village setting. If you can ask for the back room, it is cosier and cuter. Definitely want to go again.
Fantastic – Rose Angelis serves delicious food in a great environment. The best regular dishes are the Ravioli Luigi, Lasagna, and Zuppa di Mare, but their specials are usually the best way to go. Since portions are pretty large, you may want to share, especially if you want to save room for dessert. Service is usually excellent - just the right level of attention. Never felt rushed or cheated. It gets very crowded after 7pm on weekends, and the bar area is small, but it is worth the trip.
