Great Find – What a great place to go with friends or on a date. The service was friendly, and helpful. The portions are huge & the breadpudding is to die for.
Best Date Spot – The resturant is in a quiet neighborhood and it may be a little difficult to park but it is well worth it this is by far the best date resturant in Chicago. The food is excellent and there are always a couple of good specials. The staff is friendly and funny. The dinners are usually pretty causally dressed and you always feel comfortable.
homey italian – This place is one of my favorites. The service is friendly and consistent (I think I've had the same waiter at least 3 times over a 3 year period) with a totally 'neighborhood', unpretentious feel. Great food, great value. Love it. A plus... the summer deck - candles, wine and even a little greenery - makes for a very cozy and semi-romantic dinner.
My Favorite Restaurant. – This restaurant has everything. Good wine selection, wonderful food, good, fast (if you want it to be) service, and ambience! I have been to this restaurant many times and have NEVER been dissapointed...and the desserts, yum! During the summer they have a spacious outdoor area. One thing to keep in mind, they are not open on Mondays, and weekdays are the best days to go...the wait is short. Also, you get PLENTY of great food for your money! I highly reccommend this restaurant!
Hot Date Spot – My Advice: SHARE...huge portions, great value, unique manicotti, delicious pizza del giorno...wonderful salads...the only thing that will set you back is if you want to drink...pricey drinks

Great neighborhood Italian! – I often go here to impress dates. It's out of the way and quite classy. Service is excellent, food is inexpensive. The only problem is the long wait ... but overall a great value!
Best Italian I've ever had!!! – One of the best romantic meals I've ever had was at Rose Angelis. From the comfortable, casual but nice atmosphere to the outstanding food...I have nothing but good things to say about this place!
and a cream sauce to die for... – I adore this hidden treasure. The owner is always on site making sure that everything runs well, the staff is knowledgable and friendly and the food is outstanding. I am a huge carnivore but I rarely even notice that I've ordered something meatless because the pastas are so rich and delicious. The portions are rather large so you might want to split although the food is also the breakfast of champions the next AM.
