I've been a patient for over 15 years. I love his demeanor, his bed side manner and his skills. But the service and his low-key manner has changed since Village Medical took over. I feel that he is being pushed, by corporate, into doing and saying things that he would not necessarily say or do. That is my opinion, not a fact. It has also become impossible to get an appointment with Dr. Alvarez (takes at least one month) or actually talk with staff. Village Medical has an out of country call center. Dr. Álvarez is an employee of Village Medical and a fairly good doctor. His affiliation to Village Medical (VM) is very damaging to his reputation. Let me explain: 1) There is no way to communicate by phone with the doctor or his office unless going through VM 2) VM has a bank of telephone responders that will make it very difficult to communicate directly with the doctor´s office by routing to many different VM departments 3) One is compelled to physically go to the doctor´s office to communicate the problem. 4) Any referra... read more

Dr. Price is the nicest guy you would ever want to meet. He puts you at ease with that big smile the minute he walks through the door. He has a great bedside manner & is actually funny. I was hesitant about going to a young doctor, but he really knows his stuff. He tells you like it is and answers anything you throw at him. He is a great doctor as well as a great guy, what more can I say? As I said, he is a credit to his profession!

Dr. Price has the most incredible bedside manor. You can just tell he truly loves what he does. He stays so calm even in more challenging situations and is so committed to his patients. He was my gyno for a while and then my OB and I ever get pregnant again he’s the only doctor I would want to deliver me!
Dr Clark has been my doctor for 28 years. He is exceptional. He saved my life when I went into A fib. Again, he got me thru 6 days in hospital with covid double pneumonia. He has helped my friends and family when other doctors could not make a diagnosis. I am very grateful that I can rely on him for my health needs! I trust him completely!
I used to see Dr Homewood about 6 years ago when he had a private practice on Baseline Rd. He was an attentive professional. I decided to look him up again as my insurance allows any Dr. His practice is with Village Medical in Walgreens. 1st thing I noticed is Dr. Homewood isn’t attentive at all. More like he just asks a few questions and wants to leave. He mis diagnosed shingles & recommended I get a shot. A dermatologist later that week confirmed it wasn’t shingles.
