I just called and was told that Dr. Leite-Evans only accepts BCBS PPO. I have BCBS BlueCare HMO. Just FYI for anyone who is thinking of calling. Bummer because she seems like a great doctor.
Dr. Leite Evans was great. She reminded me of my doctors from when I was living in a small town, meaning Drs who genuinely cared about my wellbeing and how to help me. She did not rush me at all which was nice. She gave me referrals right then and there and all the specialists I was referred to knew Dr. Leite and were equally as caring.
Excellent! Can’t give enough accolades for her! She listens, is knowledgeable and has directed me to competent specialists. Always follows up on test results. Highly recommend!
She said the test she ordered were covered by my insurance as preventative but now I am receiving tons of bills. She took my insurance info and checked it herself the first day. She then called me in to do a recheck and told me that the visit wouldn’t be covered. Wasted my time didn’t do the recheck and I have no idea what my blood results were but I still have to pay for them? I would like more transparency as this is money I now have to pay and don’t have….and I got no results from the tests I paid for!

I work in healthcare and am a current patient of Dr. Leite-Evans. She has an excellent bedside manner and actively listens to my concerns. She has been consistenly able to schedule me in for appointments when needed, at a moments notice. She was also most recently able to completed needed paperwork for me, regarding COVID.
She saved my life! I was new to the area and didn't have any connections / contacts, and seeing the urgent need for treatment, Dr. Leite-Evans helped connect me with a nephrologist who took my condition very seriously. Needless to say, I'm doing better. Thank you Dr. Leite-Evans.
