I highly recommend Dr Darren Bell ophthalmology. I am a type 1 diabetic and have sever eye problems because of my diabetes. Dr Bell has been able to correct some of my issues and has been able to improve my vision over time with injections into both eyes. He has explained in common terms that the damage will never be totally corrected, but treatment will prevent further damage. I rely on his knowledge and professionalism.

Big rip off even though I had the best Doctor Crowder who has since left. I paid my first visit of $1000.00 on my credit card. On the second visit I paid cash because of course they would not do my surgery unless it was paid in full. Then I found out they billed my insurance company after I was told that they do not accept insurance. In going back and forth with billing I found that it was an error and for that matter their was a credit due to me. I have yet to get anything or even hear from them. Definitely think twice or three times before going to them. Not so much as the doctor but the staff does not care. It took months to get an appointment. Then after your appointment it takes months to set up the surgery and of course, they want payment upfront before they schedule your surgery. Then after my surgery on the one eye I was suppose to be called to set up the other eye. It is going on 2 months and I have yet to receive a call back. That is because I have left messages every two weeks to give me a return call.... read more
