The food is still great under the new owners. I miss the option to get 1/2 sandwiches/soup/salad lunches. And I miss the art. There’s seriously nothing on the walls. It’s just a lot of ... beige.

Excellent service and exquisite food! My boyfriend and I had the roasted Brussel sprout appetizer, vegan Shepard's pie, pork chop and tres leches cake. It was so good and we would return in a heart beat! I also love that they use sustainable/local/farm-to-table ingredients

Although they quoted us a 35 minute wait and it was actually more than an hour, I still highly recommend Roots Cafe (as long as you aren’t in a time crunch). The Superfood Hash with a side of the house made hot sauce was absolutely amazing! I could literally eat it every day!!! My daughter had the corned beef hash which was also great. If only I lived closer 🙁
