Roots Cafe is one of a kind! Not to many places out there that are as special as this restaurant. I called the owner for a special dinner after our engagement and he couldn’t have been more happy that I wanted to spend a special day in his restaurant. He went out of his way to get flowers, a card and a bottle of champagne on ice for when we walked in the door. Excellent service and exquisite food! My boyfriend and I had the roasted Brussel sprout appetizer, vegan Shepard's pie, pork chop and tres leches cake. It was so good and we would return in a heart beat! I also love that they use sustainable/local/farm-to-table ingredients

Although they quoted us a 35 minute wait and it was actually more than an hour, I still highly recommend Roots Cafe (as long as you aren’t in a time crunch). The Superfood Hash with a side of the house made hot sauce was absolutely amazing! I could literally eat it every day!!! My daughter had the corned beef hash which was also great. If only I lived closer 🙁
The food is absolutely amazing. Both the staff and environment are top notch!! If you have never been here you really owe it to yourself to give it a go!!
