Absolutely worst place to visit they never tell you the policy at the purchasing the Item once you bought it then they tell oh the policy of return is written in the back of the receipt making you look bad cuz you didn’t read their receipt backside

I had such a great experience at the Scarborough Town Centre location! After dealing with a really disappointing and stressful situation at another store, I came here honestly feeling frustrated and unsure what to expect. Disappointing experience at the Roots store. I walked in while the store was empty and none of the floor associates acknowledged or offered help. While I was browsing, a Caucasian and Asian couple walked in and were immediately greeted by Darryl and the manager. The difference in treatment was noticeable. As a visible Muslim woman, the interaction made me feel singled out because of how I look. I hope the staff receive better customer service and inclusivity training so all customers are treated equally.
