Simply Veggie sandwich waaaaayyyy over priced at 8 dollars. Probably won't return. And the restaurant name is offensive
While I think the food is great, the new name change has me baffled. Root and Pecker does not bring immediately images of pig and chicken. The name is not appealing and for a lot of people "pecker" does not make you think of chicken. I was at the coffee bar in the same building and all of us standing in line were laughing at the name and wondering who thought of this.?! If you saw a sign you would not know what this business was. Pigs "rooting" chickens "pecking".....when you have to explain a logo, it is a misfire.
Root & Pecker was the perfect venue for our event! Our guests raved about the delicious food & drink, and the staff were great! Root & Pecker offers an impressive variety of fine appetizers that will please vegetarians, carnivores, omnivores and vegans--from soup shots to heartier fare like vegan nachos and gourmet chicken wings. All of our guests had several items they could eat, and really appreciated having more options than they often do at catered events.
I visited for the first time today and had the California club. So, so delicious. Probably my new favorite sandwich. The staff was very friendly and helpful, too. Can't wait to visit again :)
They're so terrific! They know my favorite pizza and always message me when they have it in! So much love for this place ❤️
I love a fresh lunch, which is why I usually prep my own at home. However, I'm always confident that I'll have something filling, delicious, healthy and fresh when I'm on the go and grab my meal from this fantastic place! I love having the option of vegetarian and vegan both in the lunch menu and the pizza menu! In recommending the food to dozens of friends I've never had one come back disappointed, only impressed and satisfied!
Lunch and dinner are to die for. Their BLT is the best I've ever had. Pizza is surreal. Just had the farm to table experience and I'll definitely be coming back every month.
