I brought my own Iphone, earphones and music which I used during the procedure. You may wish to provide that option to patients. I found listening to music pleasantly diverting (from the procedure). Others may enjoy the benefit as well.Compliments to all Dr. Mackinney and, equally to all the staff. The experience could not have been. Any better and you'd have to sell admission tickets to manage the crowd.

The desk staff was unprofessional and rude to me over the phone. Apparently this office does not call to confirm follow-up appointments. I called to confirm my own appointment and was told that there is NO way that my appointment was at 3:30 because they don't schedule past 3 PM. My reminder card clearly stated 3:30 PM but I rearranged my day to make an earlier appointment anyway. Hello, I'm the office manager and I listened to both conversations. Typically we do not schedule at 3:30 but we did schedule yours at that time to accommodate you. Both of the ladies you spoke with said you can still come in at 3:30 and put your appointment at 3:30 so you wouldn't be late if you didn't make the 3; no one hung up on you. The new reminder system went into effect that day as you were told (not JUST for that day), now everyone gets a call (previously suture removal appointments were not confirmed).
