We were here about a month ago and it was one of the best meals I've had! Every single dish was a party in my mouth... So many unexpected, vibrant flavors... Too good for words! Loved the tea leaf salad and the cod with dill and turmeric. The brussel sprouts were also amazing! It's number one on my list and I am salivating thinking about my second trip back tomorrow with my foodie friends! My new FAVORITE restaurant!!!
We had a great casual meal here tonight. I'd recommend any of the summer rolls, the jasmine tea leaf salad and the coconut chicken curry. Other dishes looked great as well. The service was great and the room was laid-back and welcoming.
So I had eaten at Rooster And The Pig once, and it was a great overall experience. I suggested to friends who introduced me to the restaurant that we go back. We go, and they were closed for their staff holiday party- Tai came outside, recognizing my friends as customers, and not just invited us in but insisted we come celebrate with them. I never write reviews, but R&P is deserving of much praise! We went last night and waited for over an hour for a table. Normally I would think this an eternity but it was a small price to pay to get to experience the delicious, fresh fare. The staff was exceptional...the bartender was crushing it despite pinch hitting due to the influx of business recently and every dish came out piping hot and beautifully prepared. Cannot wait for the next opportunity to frequent this amazing restaurant!
New in the desert, heard about Rooster and the Pig, dined there once, loved it, and headed there last Saturday, Oct 10, 2015, only to find it closed for repairs! Sigh! Open soon, let us all know on Facebook Thanks

It should not be too much longer at all now and the repairs and rennovations will make things run even smoother, and they are easier to complete now before season truly starts!
