my old school – It upsets a lot of people who went to school there that we can never hold a reunion where everyone gathered in the hall ways , when they made apartments out of Roosvelt , they took a lot away from a lot of people . Many have sat on the walls looking down at the school , talking about going back into class , even the ones who cut school would go there and check in to home room then walk those long hall ways . Lots of good memories there . I just wish they hadn't of made apartments out of my school !
Roosevelt--don't move in! – Please be aware the Roosevelt is not a great place to live. I lived there for two years. During those two years management was horrible. They do not value their tenants or their concerns. The building itself needs a lot of maintenance, and unfortunately they force residents to pay a lot of money when there is a lot of work that needs to be done to most of the units. Nice but could be Fabulous – This place has won awards but seems to have lost some of it's glory. It's a great old building and the gym apartments are super cool, but they don't seem to keep it up like it deserves. The Roosevelt has lots of character and the office staff is always courteous but unavailable except when most people are at work with no Saturday hours. Maintenance seems to be slow to get things done. It took 2 weeks to get my a/c fixed and after 3 months I'm still waiting on a response about fixing some broken f... read more
