This man’s behavior was fishy, and his work was even more fishy. He seemed greedy from the start. He demanded cash only. When I tried to pay by check under his company name (Remarkable Roofing), he refused and insisted it be written in his personal name. He inspected my roof and clearly told me that replacement was NOT required and that patching and coating would fix the problem. He strongly promised to use branded products. My property is in Passaic, NJ, and this man is completely dishonest about his work. I hired him to fix my roof, and he promised to use premium materials and multiple coats. When I questioned him during the job about the fiberglass and extra coats, he claimed everything was “included” in one application, which makes no sense. The roof never fixed and is STILL leaking.
