I have had an absolutely terrible experience. Dr. Embly did a PPE on a lower-priced horse, all went well until I needed test results. I called the office, and texted Dr. Embley for test results. Got the radiographs before paying for the horse. I shipped some horses in from Canada to Saratoga. To find a competent vet, I did a little experiment. I asked three different vets to look at a cbc/chem that was drawn and printed. I knew from reading the blood what was wrong. Of the three clinics, two bombed and one nailed it. Rood and Riddle bombed, Upstate Equine Medical Center really bombed, but Battenkill nailed it. Thus my vet in the Saratoga area will be Battenkill.
