What started out as a 20 seat diner in 1960 has grown to a full service restaurant & bar that now seats 220 customers along with a separate carry out area & covered patio. Best chicken on the planet. Love the turtle soup, too. Our family's been customers of Ron's Roost forever. When we want great food and service, we don't even think twice. It's just plain good here.

My favorite restaurant! I have been eating there since I was a kid. Whenever I get to the West Side, I always stop by for some chicken and creamy cole slaw. I can't imagine eating anything else there!

We ate here for the first time and had the best service ever. Our waitress checked on us several times, answered any questions we had and was very sweet. Her name was either Kim or Jen and she was excellent. �
Have been there before but not for a few years...very disappointing. Meatloaf was mushy and gravy was like a gel. I had the fish and it wasn't any different than frozen. Salad was nothing but lettuce and one tomato, nothing else, not even cheese. Had to ask for water 3 times and never did get drink refills. I realize every restaurant can have an off day, and this was a REAL off day I guess. �
