Super efficient check in. Thorough and professional staff for EKG and other procedures… Maiyumi is fantastic at scheduling you in, and of course Dr Avilles is fantastic, asking questions, explaining results and remedies and inspiring confidence that my ticker is in good hands!
We did not have a good experience with Dr. Aviles. My my was scheduled for a cardio version from another cardiologist. My mom's breathing and health was way worse the day for the cardio version (CV) and Dr. Aviles was assigned to my mom. He cancelled the CV to avoid a TEE (imaging of heart to check fo blood clots) and said she was "asymptomatic". It would have taken a whole month to wait on blood thinners for a CV and would have required 24 hr care. She was even worse the next day and couldn't breath to point that she though... read more
