I was treated in the emergency room at Tuality Community Hospital after falling and fracturing the bones in my left forearm. Apparently there is the need to assess the tendon connecting to the thumb since it often breaks as well. Apparently he failed to do this, and my left thumb has been useless since then. I have been told that it could have been repaired at that point, later on, no. I would NOT recommend Dr. Teed.
Total waste of time . Had to wait 20 min in office. Had me stand on on leg then the other for god knows why. Walk one way on my heels back on my toes. Asked me a few questions and was done. Maybe 15 min total. Wrote an IME that was no even true.
Does this guy even practice surgery ?
A total quack paid by insurance companies to help them deny legitimate insurance claims after a 5 minute "medical evaluation"
He did a "records review" and determined my lumps, bumps, abrasions, and contusions from an observed/witnessed fall by four people were the result of a fall on the job. He denied the torn tendons in my foot and two cartiledge tears in my knee were a result of the same fall as the accepted condiotions. It's like saying, " Let's see. You have yellow paint on you but despite a yellow paint filled brush next to you it didn't support a conclusion that you were touched with the paint brush."
Sent to Dr Teed for an IME for a work injury. He lied on the reports, answered questions that only I can answer, which he never asked. Decided that I am healed overnight and my real problem is "functional overlay" which means all in my head!! Did his best to destroy my case and my life, all for a few bucks from the insurance. He spent TWELVE minutes with me?!?! Do not let your insurance send you to him! Don't get me started on how unprofessional he was. He was in sneakers, a polo and shorts?
He is NOT doing orthopedic anymore. He does "face peels" and treats acne. Why does an orthopedic surgeon do that?!? Because he's an ortho-quack and can't get referrals. If you value your health, find another doctor.
Was sent to Dr. Teed for an IME for starters this man is a joke. Like everyone has already mentioned. He was LOUD and RUDE very unprofessional as well. I was going to the Chiropractor for about 7 months and my insurance decided to send me to him for A second opinion which the app. was no longer than 5 minutes but somehow he discredited everything my Dr. said as well as lying about what I told him I do for work up to the inconsistencies he was trying to adhere., Worse Dr. ever avoid Ronald Teed!!
Still in Pain, he just did exactly the same thing to me! I wish we could get in touch somehow. Geico sent me for an IME. He completely disregarded my records and determined I'd had a miraculous recovery in record time! I'm still up at night from the pain and I'm just in tears. I'll be they paid you a lot for that Dr Teed.
