Dr. Paik is an excellent physician/surgeon. He’s very personable & professional with his patients, and will answer any questions you may have regarding your issues. I recently had rotator cuff & bicep surgery. Prior to surgery Dr. Paik spoke to what issues plagued my shoulder & how long recovery time would take. He’s very thorough. I highly recommend Dr. Paik if you have shoulder issues.!
I went to see Dr. Paik for shoulder and elbow pain. He reviewed my medical history regarding the returning shoulder pain and ordered some physical therapy for it. He suggested ways to help my sore elbow and examined both arms to help with diagnosis. Dr. Paik was very kind and knowledgeable treating me. I would highly recommend him.
I recently visited Dr. Paik for a knee issue. Although the wait to be seen was relatively long, some of the other staff checked in on me and updated me along the way. I'm told that Nirschl is very detailed with medical notes and exams and sometimes complex cases take a little more time than expected. Dr. Paik was very thorough in both, his exam and explanation of preliminary diagnosis, pending MRI results. I found him to be very professional, kind, and welcoming of proactive patient partnership. Dr. Paik and his team were super. I went in with an injured elbow and Dr. Paik talked me through the possibilities, gave me options on how to proceed and has followed me from the initial visit through PT and his confidence that I'll make a near full recovery without surgery is very encouraging.
