Husband did video conference with this doctor who said he would send prescription to our pharmacy. Well, over 24 hours later with several calls and more than a few messages, still no prescription! Checking whether the messages had been read. NO! Each time called the reception she said, she would forward to this doctors nurse, who apparently is as incompetent as the doctor. This Dr does not listen to his patients needs. He is currently covering for my parents physician, my mother is in serious pain and after going through the excruciating experience of making it to her appointment and explaining her situation to this poor excuse for a physician- she told him that her current pain medication that she takes for her Rheumatoid was not helping, he stated that he would send a rx for something stronger. horrible doctor, rude, snooty, didnt listen to what i wanted, made rude comments. just awful.
Dr Oglesby always takes time to listen to my concerns and explain my treatment options. I appreciate his insight, and his consideration of long term affects when discussing a treatment plan
I would NEVER be able to recommend Dr. Oglesby or his office to anyone. I have never been able to be seen without an hour or longer wait in his waiting room, regardless of appointment time or severity. He has made me go home to prove a condition my child had before prescribing the most expensive med out there. He didn't know about a diagnosis my daughter had and I had to find it online to show him about it. He refused to sign a physical to allow my son to have emergent oral surgery- no reason.
Refused to listen to me. Really rude staff. Just a waste of time. Go to a doctor that actually helps you!
refused to listen to me and disregarded my labs. Dr treated me like a hypochondriac, talk to me like I was an idiot. If you want a Dr who cares about his patients, keep looking! I was later diagnosed by a specialist with something he refused to look at!
My family has been seeing Dr. Oglesby for 25 years, or there abouts. He does an outstanding job of explaining things to us, and is willing to spend whatever time our concerns require.
I have been a patient of Dr. Oglesby's for close to 20 years. If you want to be coddled, and given a lot of unneccessary tests and bs to make you feel you are getting the royal treatment, go to someone who doesnt care. If you want an excellent, extremely knowledgeable, no-nonsense straight shooter full of common sense that will take care of the problem the FIRST time, Dr. Oglesby is the one.
