Unbelievable is all I can say. As soon as I walked into the office I knew that this is the doctor I wanted to treat my liver cancer. Dr Matteotti is kind and caring. He set out a plan with me and discussed all aspects of treatment. His recommendations of other doctors to perform procedures to prepare me for surgery were right on. On the day of surgery he went over the plan and the results are excellent. I would recommend Dr. Matteotti and his staff to my friends and family. Great office staff

I had a very positive experience with Dr. Matteotti. I was confident in the expertise of his decisions. His compassion and sense of humor make for a very pleasant bedside manner. He and his staff are helpful and efficient. If I could give him 10 stars I would. I only wish he could be my primary doctor as I hope not to need a surgeon that often.
I was fortunate to be referred to Dr. Matteotti by another surgeon who did not have the expertise to perform my surgery. Dr. Matteotti was a pleasure. He explained everything that would happen and guided me throughout my time in the hospital and afterwards. My surgery was complicated and he made me whole again. I would highly recommend him as a surgeon.
Dr. Matteotti is and outstanding doctor and surgeon that I trust, respect, and will be forever grateful for my recovery from a very critical health episode. His medical knowledge, professionalism, competence and experience gave me back my life. His compassion ,patience , sense of humor and wonderful bedside manner to my family as well as to me will always be remembered. Thank you to Dr. DiNapoli who was so supported and assisting Dr. Matteotti in my recovery. I am a very fortunate man.
Dr. Matteotti took on a surgery that was transferred to him due to complications from a gallbladder operation. Six weeks later he preformed an 11 hour surgery to repair the gallbladder and other organs that were damaged. He was very compassionate and very thorough during and after the procedure. The office staff was also wonderful and his P.A. Jessica DiNapoli is amazing. Yes I would highly recommend Dr. Matteotti.
While I had to wait a bit for my actual appointment, the office was friendly, the doctor and his PA were fantastic and I am recovering quicker then I expected. Nothing but good things to say about Dr. Matteotti and his staff.
Was told I did not have pancreatic cancer, I DID. Never got authorizations in a timely manner, I even had insurance company call the office, didn't matter. Wasted 3 months of my life ,literally, until I left and had surgery at the insistence of my GI Doctor. Office staff covers for the doctor . Never called on test results. Left me with bile bag hanging from my body and wouldn't return my calls !
