Stopped by the Ron Ebbesen Twin Arena a few days ago to grab some action shots during a late afternoon hockey practice session, and the lighting inside was actually way better than I expected for an indoor rink. The ice surface was in great condition and the boards gave me some clean reflections to work with for a few of the shots. Drove up from Calgary last weekend for a hockey tournament and was really impressed with how well-maintained the twin ice surfaces were. The zamboni had just finished a fresh cut right before our game and the ice quality was honestly some of the best I've skated on outside of a major city. Staff at the front desk were friendly and helped us figure out where to go without making us feel lost as out-of-towners.
