The food was just fine. The caprese was delicious and unique, but the rest was under seasoned and lacking anything memorable. We felt it was what someone could make at home with care, but for the price it was a big disconnect to the experience. The staff were under supported and did not have a drink menu to refer to for recommendations. Look elsewhere if you’re craving Italian.

Well, we should've listened to the reviews, but we were fooled by the outside appearance of this restaurant. The Caesar salad did not have any form of Caesar dressing taste that remotely tasted like a Caesar but was so watered down with a queer light vinegar rotten taste that forced me to have to doctor it with tons of salt and pepper. We eat at Romuls when visiting Hood River. The service has always been attentive. Our group has ordered various items over the years. Each person has praised their food. The bar is like a small family gathering.

Wonderful intimate Italian Restaurant serving excellent menu items, which also includes many Gluten-Free options. I highly recommend if you are in the area.
