We chose Romie Lane Pet Hospital (Dr. Ponder) as Jackson's vet. I chose this location because it is where we had taken my childhood pets for many years. Great Doctor and staff. VERY friendly, compassionate and considerate of you and your pet. Very punctual, typically the wait is very short. The only vet.and staff that my dog was comfortable around, Great people!!!!
Reception/staff are unprofessional, ignorant with regard to dealing with the public. Haley has acquired so much ego since she started, that it is offensive. It is a shame that one needs to get past reception to see the vets because the vets are each wonderful. I will not return with my pet. It is not worth dealing with the rudeness, tactlessness, and unprofessionalism of the girls in the front.
Dr. Ponder is amazing and the staff is caring and so helpful
Took my dog Amber to Romie Lane Pet Hospital for the first time May 2013 because she wasn't eating. Amber and I couldn't be happier with the care and service she got. Amber is back home and eating again. If you are looking for a great vet in the Salinas area I would give them five stars.
Worst VET in town!!!!! – Took my sick dog here and they over charged me and when my dog didnt get better I took him to the emergency room in Ryan Ranch and they found what really was wrong with my dog. They refuse to give me a refund!!!! The Vet in Romie Lane does not know what he is doing.!!!
Great Care and Concern – Our cat, Jinx disappeared for 19 days. He was found in a shed that he wondered into. He did not have food or water for that entire time and was near death. We took him to Dr. Ponder who never gave up on him. He kept Jinx with him through the night and pulled him through. That was 2 years ago and Jinx is healthy as ever...doesn't leave home....
