The inspiration for the Rolli Sandwich came from a soldier in the US Army when he was stationed abroad in Frankfurt Germany. While there, he fell in love with the quality and the ethnic influences of the food. Although he was glad to return to the US, he started to notice a small craving for the sandwiches he often enjoyed in Germany. As time passed, that craving grew and manifested into an obsession.
