About time they shut down !!!! I heard on the news that it was shut down --- I think it's about time they go thru a major clean up of the place as well as the attitude of the employee and the owner of Rolf's Patisserie They don't care about their customers - due to their business has expanded to bigger customers like Whole Foods & Fresh Farms I am not going to shop at Rolf's Patisserie any more
Grat New Bakery This is a new bakery that just opened up in Lincolnwood. It is a great place. They bake everything on the premisis so you know its nice and fresh. They have a little seating area too where you can purchase and enjoy your sweets. Their assorments of sweets is great and everything not only looks good, but tastes good. Rolf's Patisserie Inc is wonderful bakery I have been using this bakery for years, and was recommended by a friend and I'm recommending it to you. Their cakes are delicious and fresh and they are reasonable. They also have other bakery items that are good as well.
Authentic and Sophisticated European Cakes – Rolf's cakes are absolutely amazing! I was at an event where the triple vanilla bean cheesecake was served along with the hokey pokey, which is exclusive to Whole Foods. Oftentimes American-style cakes are way too dense or the cake itself is too dry, but Rolf has an authentic European style, as good as cakes I had in Germany. Amazing Cakes My wife and I used Rolf's for our wedding cake and it was utterly amazing. Not only did we enjoy it, everyone at our wedding complimented on the taste as well as design. I will recommend Rolf's to absolutley everyone I know.
Don't go there for the cake – The staff we friendly, but cake was terrible. If you want bland and dry this is the place for you. Our wedding venue offers a discount if you use Rolf's for the cake, but if I'm going to pay hundreds of dollars for a cake I'd rather serve something that people will eat, rather than serving something that will look pretty, but be thrown out at the end of the night.
Best I've ever had I can honestly say that Rolf's pastries are, without question the best I have tasted. Keep it up guys!
I wanted to write in to let everyone know how impressed I was with my wedding cake that I got from them. My design was very intricate so I was nervous proposing it to any bakery. After I had the consultation I was very assured by their abilities. My wedding day was perfect and I had a perfect cake to match along with it. The flavor was delicious and the design was spot on. I would recommend Rolf's to any brides that are in need of good customer service, great taste and design!
Great Service and delicious choices – I was recommended to visit this bakery by Kathy at Kasia's Bridal for my wedding cake. I called and asked for Fabiloa (as suggested by Kathy) however, she was not available. I did end up visting with Joanne. My visit was very informative. I was able to have a tasting with my finace and mother. I'm very happy to have made my appointment here.
