our wedding Sept 20, 2008 this was a second wedding for both of us, so we opt for the mini desserts instead of a cake. Our guests have not stopped talking about the wonderful experience. Beautiful display and wonderful, delicate taste. We highly recommend Rolf's Patisserie.
Rolf's was wonderful! I think the last comment abount Rolf's was so horrible. Our daughter's wedding was in September 2011 - she used Rolf's for her cake and it was absolutely gorgeous and tasted wonderful. They were so helpful - it was a buttercream frosting and was decorated elegantly - not always easy to do in buttercream. They were the best at Rolf's in every way.
About time they shut down !!!! I heard on the news that it was shut down --- I think it's about time they go thru a major clean up of the place as well as the attitude of the employee and the owner of Rolf's Patisserie They don't care about their customers - due to their business has expanded to bigger customers like Whole Foods & Fresh Farms I am not going to shop at Rolf's Patisserie any more
Rolf's Patisserie Inc is wonderful bakery I have been using this bakery for years, and was recommended by a friend and I'm recommending it to you. Their cakes are delicious and fresh and they are reasonable. They also have other bakery items that are good as well.
Grat New Bakery This is a new bakery that just opened up in Lincolnwood. It is a great place. They bake everything on the premisis so you know its nice and fresh. They have a little seating area too where you can purchase and enjoy your sweets. Their assorments of sweets is great and everything not only looks good, but tastes good. Rolf's cakes – My friend told me about Rolf's when I needed a cake for my husband's surprise birthday party. I brought in a picture from a fishing magazine, and they copied it way beyond what I expected. I could not believe the detail of the artwork--but most importantly, the cake tasted amazing. The people at Rolf's were very nice and helpful. I will be ordering my daughter's birthday cake from Rolf's and will recommend them to my friends!
Rude! Lady was trashy.. – I had heard okay things about their cakes and with Rolf's being the bakery of 3 of the seven weddings we went to this past summer..not impressed! This bakery is offered with our venue so we went in for the tasting and Sarah was rude and trashy. Could not get the concept of the cake we wanted and really only wanted us to do the "package deal" when we wanted to upgrade.
