One of the best new restaurants in LA. The food and atmosphere is so intimate and amazing. Dining here was a complete experience that needs to be had. It feels like you’re in Japan and Los Angeles at the same time. The service is on point and the Cesar salad has such a unique taste, I would say it’s one of the best I’ve ever had. The caesar salad was excellent and I would consider going back for that if nothing else. Unfortunately the hand roll I had was pretty terrible, nori was soggy and fish was fishy (very bad sign for sushi), and the place gave me weird vibes. It seems to be more of a bar/cocktail lounge for people who have a dinner reservation upstairs. The drinks selection left something to be desired.
This place is a hidden gem! Super cool atmosphere, great cocktails and the food is unique and tasty! I have to highlight our bartender Celine, she was awesome! So friendly and really knew the menu like the back of her hand. Will def be back!
I was excited to dine here for my birthday and I left upset with my experience. Place was way smaller than I expected and felt crowded. I couldn’t even push my seat out, we had to move the table .. and I am thin. DJ was playing music not suited for the atmosphere and was blaring in my ears.
