Food is great, but the treat I got from the manager or owner was very un ethical, I went there right after work wearing a cap, jeans and a Polo Shirt. I am a Latino from Venezuela and I felt discriminated, they would go table by table asking how good food was and they always skipped me.
Service was great. Let us sit and enjoy our drinks and food. Excellent whiskey, sake, and scotch selections! I had Hamachi nigiri and spicy tuna which I was really pleased that they didn't use mayo! My wife had saba and unagi and the unagi avocado roll which she ate in record time. For dessert we split a scoop of vanilla bean which was the perfect balance of subtle flavor and lightly sweet. Prices were slightly higher than going to a sushi bar, but the overall dining experience was definitely worth it!
Is one of my favorite hangout for a perfectly barbecued steak robata way. But, had a not good dining experience last evening. Ordered filet mignon and expected it to be cooked robata way but wasn't. It also came cold. Complained to the waiter and got treated as if I complained to get my meal discounted. I expected the manager to come to me to apologize so was going to give him my honest opinion to make some kind of improvement. He didn't. They just gave me a dessert plate as an apology.
