My dad went to the hospital one day with “heartburn symptoms” that turned out to be a heart attack. Testing showed his heart had major blockages and needed a quadruple bi-pass surgery). Dr, Shahani performed a quadruple by pass and did it so well he let me go home a day early. He is one of the most gracious Doctors I have ever experienced. He checked in on me regularly during my entire stay in the hospital. My wife and I cannot say enough about him. He was simply the BEST.
Dr. Shahani performed a difficult bypass surgery on me on 11.11.21 and I am so blessed to have found him! After having a very low heart rate and a bunch of tests with no results I decided to go to the emergency at SIUH-Northwell Health with a heart rate of 39. The tests performed showed I had 6 blockages at 96% blocked.
