Came in for a consultation. Dr. was rude, impatient, rushed and even said he had to be somewhere else. Spent maybe 2 minutes in exam room with me. Awful experience. Made me feel non-existent. Arrogant is an understatement. One star was required to submit review or would not even give him one star.
Words cannot describe how extremely grateful I am to Dr Verma. For many years I was suffering from a severe back pain that no other doctor could figure out. At one point, I felt helpless and figured I will have to live with this pain for the rest of my life. After years of receiving inadequate treatment, I decided to get a second opinion at Northwell. Probably the best and most patient Doctor I’ve ever had the pleasure of seeing.
Dr. Verman is personable, accessible, and gives his patients time and consideration. He does not rush to book surgery...will try other less invasive means to heal his patients first. However, in our case, surgery was indicated and his technique, demeanor, and support was excellent in every regard.
Been dealing with back pain for almost a year. MRI showed herniated discs for L-4 L-5. Had nerve pain all down my left leg. I was at risk for cauda equina and Dr.Verma was able to catch it quickly and provide me an emergency surgery. It's my 4th day since the surgery and I am already noticing quite a difference in my leg. My left leg is free from the nerve pain. Still feel some soreness in the back due to the surgery being done but my recovery is going very well so far. Definitely recommend drv
