RecommendedThe doctors here definitely try very hard to make the best recommendations for your pets. I have gotten late night emails explaining issues and offering options. On weekends too. They openly admit that they consult each other and outside sources to be sure the best and most current options are being offered. This is a team I definitely want on my side and caring for my little Rex.
We went here for 4.5 years and contemplated switching a few times due to poor bed side manners with 2/3 vets. Twice now we have taken our dogs there for a skin issue on one, and a leg issue on the other. After racking up hundreds in visit fees they can never tell us whats wrong. The most recent was consisted of a $850+ bill, which consisted of an unneeded $350 test the vet scared my wife in to getting, a rare disease that even more uncommon for the bread. Neeko and Kodiac were both seen in the same day of calling! Kodiac is feeling great and back to his normal self! Neeko got some pain meds and laser therapy on his back and is starting to feel so much better... the staff was so amazing and friendly!
This staff is so friendly and caring. Firstly, the email communication about scheduling an appointment was so professional, yet caring and extremely timely. They were so accommodating! Also, I didn’t feel like I was being pushed into having tests done that weren’t absolutely necessary just to incense cost. You can tell they truly care about the animals they see. Our experience with our pup was excellent and we would highly recommend!
I have taken my pets to a handful of different veterinary offices and this place by far out shines the rest! The staff was so friendly, took their time with our sick kitty, and showed him lots of attention. We will definitely be back!😊
Friendliest, most caring staff of any vet I’ve ever been to. And if you really need to you can board your dog surrounding the vet visit if you are busy. Love it! So much so that I drive a half hour to get there now that I live so far away and it’s worth the trip.
Money hungry. 😞 Be careful when they give you a quote, you’ll want to multiply it by 3 to get the real price you’ll pay.

I went to RVVH with my dog Mandy as an emergency and was quite impressed with the staff how they handled her and the treatment she received. They are knowledgeable and very caring. I will definitely be using RVVH for both my dogs in the future, Great vet. I will be recommending them to all I know.
