I have a. fib. and a defibrillator and my wife has a fib. and history of m. i. Dr. Rogers has taken care of us for several years and we think he is an outstanding cardiologist and an outstanding person. He is kind, compassionate, caring and thorough. He has a very busy practice but always takes the time to meet all our needs and answer all our questions. We heartily recommend him to anyone seeking a wonderful cardiologist.

My cardiologist referred me to Dr. Rogers after I expressed concern about traditional pacemaker placement given my slender build, age (45) and active lifestyle. My case was urgent and Dr. Rogers was able to quickly fit me in and do an axillary placement under my pectoral muscle. He put me at ease during the pre op process and all the hospital staff told me he was the best pacemaker surgeon. They were right and I couldn’t be happier with the result. You can’t even tell I have a pacemaker and I can still wear bikinis and strap... read more

Dr Rogers helped identify and treat a condition I was unable to identify for a very long time. He is incredible! Professional, personable, kind, too of his field and has a great sense of humor.

Dr. Rogers failed to monitor a dilation of my acending aorta. Two years passed with no follow up. Luckily I asked for a routine stress test. He did the test and an ultrasound and found that my dilation had increased to 5.2 cm which would have killed me if I had not asked for the test. Now I'm expecting open-heart surgery to remove the aneurysm. This will completely change and disrupt my life. My advice is to find another cardiologist. I saved my own life.

I had a TERRIBLE experience with Dr. Rogers. When I asked a simple question, he became irritated and randomly transferred my care to someone else! LEAVING was definitely for the better - I'd rather have a doctor that actually answers questions instead of abandoning a patient who needs care!

Dr. Rogers failed to follow Joint Commission standards which say that a doctor is supposed to draw incision sites on the patient when they are still awake. Instead, he completely sedated me for a procedure that doesn't require it and then cut into my body in a completely different place from what we had agreed upon. Now I have horrible scarring from WRONG SITE SURGERY. I wish I had known to RUN while I still had the chance.

Dr. Rogers misdiagnosed me, performed my surgery incorrectly, and then passed me off to someone else to deal with the resulting complications. An old degree from an unranked medical school should not give him the right to put his patients in danger and put innocent lives at unnecessary risk.

Dr. Rogers put an UNNECESSARY PACEMAKER into me, and I had to risk OPEN HEART SURGERY to have it removed. My experience with him was HORRIBLE and I have permanent damage from the surgery that NEVER should have happened AT ALL. If I had to do it all over again, I would not have been fooled - he doesn’t stay “nice” for long after an unnecessary surgery he performs goes miserably wrong.

Dr. Rogers insisted that I needed a surgery or would risk DYING - but it turns out I didn't need to have anything done AT ALL because there was NOTHING wrong with my heart. He sounded convincing and bragged about his "experience" - but it makes me wonder how much of that "experience" comes from EXPERIMENTING on innocent and healthy people like me...?
