What I will remember most is not the building, the groups, or the program—it is the people. The treatment team, MHTs, nurses, housekeeping staff, and everyone who quietly showed up for us every single day treated me with dignity when I was struggling to find it for myself. I got put on emergency detention here. Another patient accused me of something horrible which I did not do and the staff treated me like I was guilty even with the lack of evidence. I was asked things like "how did you do it" by staff who were supposed to be professional. I have friends that stayed here and agree it was really bad. This place is used as a threat by my friends parents. Rodgers is hell. Also their water has too much sulfur which makes the water taste bad and makes your breath smell. Sometimes something might look like OCD, but the answer isn’t always actually OCD or OCD therapy. People need to be listened to more. Also, it’s very important to understand things like different denominations or you might pathologize something that is just part of someone’s belief system. Dangerous. I was manipulated by another patient (17) when I had just turned 13. Staff acknowledged he was breaking the rules but allowed it cause he was a “nice boy”. Toilet stopped working, at one point I had to sleep on the floor in the hallway because the shower kept flooding due to the drain being clogged. Staff allowed people to sneak sharps and self harm in broad daylight but some how makeup wasn’t allowed. This is one of the worst places I've ever been sleep. Deprived constantly checking my blood pressure, which is important. But the staff, the night staff, especially would come in and purposely wake you up so you did not get any kind of recovery or sleep. The nursing staff is completely Out of whack, they don't have the resources to support the people. I would not suggest going to this place. Add all I don't know. How I can leave on negative star? But choose someplace else, worst experience.I ever no toilet seats, by the way
