Unfortunately, I allowed Dr. Sur to perform an aquablation prostatectomy on October 22, 2024. It is now more than 11 months later, and I am still passing large amounts of blood and clots in my urine. I went to Dr. Sur because of recurring UTI infections her recommended Aquablation Therapy Treatment of the Prostate had it done on March 28, 2025 before my surgery I was infected with and ESBL Klebsiella Pneumoniae bacteria he put me in the hospital 5 days pro to the surgery to receive IV Antibiotics. I've been under Dr Sur's care for many years, and feel very fortunate he is my urologist. I always feel he gives me good advice, taking the time to explain what my condition is and what my options are. He has carried out certain procedures for me that went flawless. What I was especially impressed with was that I had one situation where, while he could do a certain procedure, there was one other possibility that he did not offer, and recommended someone who did. Dr Sur thinks hes a celebrity. Couldnt be bothered with my healthcare. His lvn was an absolute baffoon. The parking situation was not disclosed and is not marked. I waited over 45 mins for a 10 minute consult where he promptly recommended surgery. The lvn wanted to waste my time w a lab theyre contracted with not with a lab my insurance is contracted with. . I was not impressed by anyone here. I imagine they have business becsuse they are psrt of a teaching hospital. Dont waste your time. Go somewhere else.

This is the second time he has lied to me about my test results. Telling me that the CT Scan showed no kidney stones. When seen by another Dr in the same hospital, only a few days later, the new Dr stated that I DID had kidney stones. He even showed me on the computer the image of my kidneys with BOTH kidneys with stones. When asked why Dr Sur lied to me TWICE about my test results, all that was said was, " Well, maybe what he ment to say was...." There was no need to lie. Lost my trust in him.

Dr Sur helped save my life during a surgery to remove my kidney. After wasting my time with 2 other doctors, 6 surgeries and many years of pain he solved my health problem. I am for forever indebted to his skill. He is a kind and caring man without the typical big ego that many doctors have.
