Good place for finding unusual plants Roger Reynolds has a great selection of plants, in particular things other than annuals. You can find unusual plants and hard to find colors in their stock. If you are lucky enough to find an available staff member they are more than helpful and very knowledgeable. The carriage house also has beautiful indoor plants and gifts--a good place to find special presents. Prices admittedly are very high--double or triple what you pay at the chain stores. PROS: selection, helpful staff CONS: exp... read more
Carriage Shop is a find The nursry is so great, you may overlook the carriage shop, but take time to stop in. They carry a wide selection of gift items and indoor plants and accessories.
Your every gardening need This is truely the nursery to go to for your unique and run of the mill needs. Their staff is extremely knowledgeable about all the plants they have and under what conditions they should be used. They also have a large selection of pots, house plants, etc. Once a year they run a great sale in the August timeframe with major discounts on their inventory - time for a real bargain if you are able to find what you need near the end of the season.
Roger Reynolds Nursery A well stocked nursery in a beautiful setting. Every January the nursery has a wide selection of bare root roses and fruit trees. If the nursery doesn't have the plant you want, they will order it. PROS: Excellent selection of plants. CONS:
Paging Martha Stewart I bought a huge tree from this place, and it was priced at half the amount I saw a comparable tree in Berkeley. What a surprise considering they have a more upscale location and clientele. I also bought a climbing rose bushes from there and they're looking absolutely gorgeous! Regretably, I discovered this place after I bought the bulk of my plants from another Regan's Nursery in Hayward, which completely bites! Next time, I'm going to Roger Reynolds only.
Roger Reynolds Nursery & Carriage Stop has a 4.4 star rating with 19 reviews.
