The staff are very cordial, polite and provide you with a welcoming feeling! This is our third event there dining and dancing and they made sure we were taken care with our LARGE group. I highly recommend Roger Brown's as a pleasant experience the management ispresent and so on point making certain that things go smoothly and didn't hesitate in jumping in and even more tables for additional latecomers! Thanks to ALL!!!!!!
Friendly, attentive, food was delicious. Manager introduced us to LaShawn merritt. Thank you guys for a wonderful evening .

First time eating there for me was yesterday Saturday September 24,2016...Food was Great! But the Server we had was NOT!!! The Food was Lukes Warm when she brought it to us, We had to ask more than one time for some Cornbread muffins!!! Also had to send Food back, Because it was Cold!!!! I know it was NOT the Cooks fault, She just didn't go check on the food like she was supposed too!!! Another server brought the food out!!! I wass in there last friday. I wouldnt call myself a regular but my family and I come in here a lot and have never had a bad experience. This friday they were beyond busy, which isnt normal. So we had to wait a bit which is fine because their food is worth it. We sit down and our server Amina was awesome and she let us know the kitchen was backed up and that our food may take a minute to come out. So we were fine, again for waiting. So my wife and I just got home from her high school 10 year reunion Nansemond River Class of 2006 we had the dinner at Roger Brown's Sports Bar and Restaurant and I have to say the place was amazing the staff was nothing but helpful. They even helped us set up for the reunion. But the best part was our waitress Amanda she helped us set up she got our orders right our glasses were never empty she helped make everything perfect. Thanks for being a great server Amanda we will definitely be back.
