Dr Hurt was overseeing the care of a family member at a skilled nursing facility. We expressed concerns to him about an infected wound, increased need for oxygen and increased white blood cell count. He did nothing. Two days later she was worse, we called him numerous times, the facility called him, no return call. The next day she was taken to hospital. would never recommend Dr. Hurt, not even to my worst enemy. A family member was under his care, and the fact is that Dr. Hurt was called several times over multiple hours but never returned the nurses' calls. According to protocol, on-call doctors are expected to respond, but Dr. Hurt never did. This is unprofessional and extremely inconsiderate.
