I have been working with Dr Runyan to treat my mother ever since a few years ago when she had a bowel perforation. He explained everything very well and did all of her surgeries with regard to bowel resection, colostomy and then reconnection. He had to repair her hernia even a year later. Hard to find good doctors these day and with my professional experience in the health filed for over 30 years...he's one of the good ones.
A gentle, kind and personable man, who really LISTENS to his patients and provides the best ways to treat your diagnosis and takes as much time as needed for your needs. I highly recommend him.
Dr. Lewis has been my surgeon since 2006. He has always been very conscientious, concerning, confidence and the list goes on. Dr. Lewis is very professional.

Dr Runyan saved my life. Literally. He happened to be on duty when I showed up via ambulance. I have worked with doctors for many years. Dr Runyan is very professional with one of the best bedside manners I have ever seen or experienced. Very attentive, actually changed my wound dressing himself during my hospitalizations and surgeries. Office team is also very good at providing quality customer service. I am a very high maintenance patient, most nurses are-Dr. R deserves a million stars!
Dr. Runyan is the coolest surgeon! He was very easy going, very attentive and did a great job with my surgery. He took the time to explain my procedure and answered all my questions. I would recommend him to anyone.
I have never seen Dr. Runyan before 4/27/16, he was very nice but the condition I seen him for he stated that it was nothing and sent me on my way.....my family doctor sent me to another surgeon which did a stat biopsy stating that the area of concern was very suspicious
Dr. Lewis did colon surgery back in June, 2015. He was very thorough in explaining the procedure. The operation came out good. The hospital visits and follow up office visits were excellent. He truly cares about his patients.
