Quality inn on woodbine rd in St Joseph was nect to horrific.. 1st room (217) looked like someone was still in the room, bedspread& top sheet pulled back, stool hadn't been flushed, Used towels on b/r floor.. Went down to check in desk& informed the clerk (if that's what he was) & explained the situation & he assigned a clean room (wasn't asking to much I don't believe).. Hallway smelled like "Curry".. We stayed there for 2 days. first of all check the microwave out left the glass dish up Very Dirty had not been cleaned for a while. The hotwater was not hot could not take a shower or bath, also the shower stall was dirty. For Breakfast checked it out all they had was toast and eggs, we have stayed at many hotels they had better breakfast foods. Need better tv selection on the TV channels. So very disappointed. After 12 hours on the road and very tired, my elderly friend and I pulled into this motel thinking it would be alright. We tried to overlook the outward appearance of rusted stairways and abandoned shopping carts on the end of the motel property (this should have been our first clue to simply leave) .... We recently stayed at the Clarion Point in Brandon and had a very positive experience overall — but what truly stood out happened after we checked out. We had accidentally left behind a box containing jewelry and watches — items of both monetary and sentimental value. Several days passed before we noticed they were missing. When we called the hotel, night manager Saiel (who goes by Sam) had already secured the box. Have stayed at this hotel a few times while in the area to go boating. This is one of the few hotels that has adequate parking for a boat/trailer and they do not charge extra and the area is very secure. As for rooms there are some that have renovated bathrooms, which are very nice, and some that aren't and are in need of a renovation. Overall the rooms are kept very clean and are comfortable. terrible experience reserved a room with tub handicap room and there was no tub stopper. told me they did not have any and did not have any maintenance that evening. next day they moved me across the hall to a room with a tub stopper. I was worried about the refrigerator and in the daytime they said there was no maintenance and i asked the manager to call me but she was too busy and left the motel and never called me back I was checking the frig and found several spots of black mold. Worst hotel ever. Smell in the room was so strong we couldn't stay there. Made your eyes water. Front desk person was no help. Don't stay here.
