My husband and I went there for the first time last night. We knew nothing about it. We were very pleasantly surprised. Beautiful room, soft lighting, great service, wonderful food! It's unusual that we both are perfectly happy at the same restaurant, but we were. Kudos! We'll be back.
I typically do not write reviews but felt the need to write one for Rockwoods. We have been to Rockwoods many times for all kinds of occasions. We most often we go on Friday nights to listen to the music in the bar. The quality of the entertainment is exceptional, the food is exceptional, the service is exceptional, the atmosphere is wonderful, all at a tremendous value. Pot roast was amazing!! My husband is not much of a salad person but he ordered the Waldorf and WOW, we both ended up sharing it. YUM!! We'll be back!

For those of you who have written this place off...come back Chef Jaimie is the bomb and the food is spot on. Nashville hot chicken! shrimp Po-boy! corn bread with maple syrup and pork belly. Serious food in Otsego!
We've been going to Rockwoods for years, it really is the only nice place in the Elk River area. Last Friday we visited for the first time in a while, not only were we not impressed but completely disappointed. I think we will rethink our date night location.
