Maintenance worker lied to me about the policies and procedures. Said the AC vent was an issue, but the actual problem was the filter on the intake, outside the house under the unit cover. Had to fix it again myself.

RockRuth installed a new HVAC unit in 2019, and they messed up everything possible, from promises from the salesman that turned out to be impossible to fulfill to forgetting to light the pilot light. They even left shards of metal on my 2-year-old son's floor. And they are the gift that keeps on giving. The installer (who seemed to be a meth user) installed the indoor unit in a way that their own service technicians cannot remove the cover to clean the coils.
