I disagree with the reviews that say the apartments are well maintained. The complex is very run down as you can see from the outside. There is peeling paint everywhere and it has been going on for many years. Most appliances, carpet, counters, and windows are very old because they are from when the place was built. Apartments are drafty and not well-insulated so utility bills are high and you can hear your neighbors. The basic monthly fees tacked on to the rent are about $150 now. We have lived at Rockledge Oaks for a little over 2 years now and love it! It is very conveniently located by grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, churches, schools & shopping centers. The apartment complex is very well maintained. The staff are very professional, friendly, and quick to resolve any issues. We have met a number of people who live here, and everyone is very friendly. Have greatly enjoyed living here the past two years. I consider Rockledge to be a tiny town inside Lincoln, and Deb in the main office is the mayor of our town. She’s a good mayor, and I would vote for her if it was an elected position. The maintenance guys are cool, it’s a small crew so you get to know them. They respond quick even late at night. I had an overall good experience at Rockledge. The units are beautiful, office staff is so friendly and accommodating, and they take pride in making sure tenants are satisfied. Amenities are great, including valet trash. I thought my rent was low for how luxurious my apartment was and all the amenities that came with it. That being said, I did have some issues living here.
