This review is not about the food but about the way Rocklands treated its long-term employee who was loved by customers. Due to 1 bad review, Rocklands fired RJ, its bartender of many years. Having been a patron for more than 3 years, I can vow for RJ’s level of respect and professionalism toward his customers. He made all of us feel like Rocklands is a family business, not stone cold chain restaurant. Firing him due to 1 bad review is unreasonable and heartless. You’ve lost me as a customer.
The first time I tried this place I absolutely loved it! However, I just went back for my second trip today and they messed up my to go order. The sides were right, but the meat was not. Very disappointed since I didn't have time to return to get it corrected. Hopefully they can make this right because I loved Rockland's food!
Delicious BBQ I’ve had Ribs, chicken, brisket and pulled pork @Rocklands and have never been disappointed! I’m glad you have this location in Alexandria and will continue to be a fan.
