Yummy bread and fun experience This place is a Rockland tradition, although it is quite built up from the old days. This is a working bakery where you can go back and pick your own products, hot off of the production line. They now require you to wear plastic gloves and you can no longer reach directly onto the belt, but it is still fun to pull the bread straight off of the cooling rack while it is still piping hot. Rockland Bakery -- Smell The Aroma! Rockland Bakery in Nanuet, NY is always busy. This is a fact and one that can't be avoided at any costs. No matter what time of day you go, there's always a crowd especially in the morning when the freshest items come out.
Love the smell I always love walking into the shop and smelling the fresh bread. It's good when going to pick some fresh-out-of-the-oven rolls and bagels that they have. I've never been disappointed whenever I make a trip to this place. Everyone else must have the same thinking because it's always crowded but worth it if you enjoy the fresh bakery.
Bread Bakery of the world Pick your fresh rolls hot off the conveyer belt. Sit and have a sandwich in there deli and on your way out take home a box of pasteries at this 5 star bakery.Plenty of parking large lot. I love this place so much, I travel forty minutes just to get my dose of freshly baked breads. Specialty are their jewish rye's. Open daily until 9 pm They also do catering althiough I never had them do any of my party's.Although I am considering them for future partys.
Excellent :) This place is busy, busy, busy! Very popular bakery in Rockland. It is alway packed from morning to night so it is a bit of a pain to park and wait in line but it is well worth the wait. Pastries are delicious, breads are fresh out of the oven, now there is a new deli with fresh meats. One of the best bakeries that I know of. Yummy! :)
The best cakes around! It wouldn't be a birthday without a cake from The Rockland Bakery. The cake is so moist and the frosting is delicious! They have so many other wonderful items to choose from while you're shopping for your cake. They have cookies, danishes, cream puffs, tarts and so much more. I'm getting hungry just thinking of all the choices. Also, don't forget to pick up some fresh made rolls & bagels while you're there. You can see them rolling out of the oven! Excellent bakery!!! You can go in and watch them bake thre breads and take them right off the racks all warm and delicious! They have more varieties than any store around. The front of the store has a full pastry that you just have to buy from. They even have a cafe now!
